My dog has been experiencing discomfort after bowel movements in the morning, including moaning and seeming in pain, and only eating her first meal a couple of hours later. We initially thought she had a blocked GI tract, but now we're unsure. What could be causing this and what should we do?

My six-year-old Rottweiler, Hera, has been lethargic for a few days, with droopy, goopy eyes, a limp, and she won't eat dry food, only soft food. She is currently in heat and has a brownish-red vaginal discharge. She has been taking Benadryl, which initially seemed to help, but her condition has worsened again. What could be wrong and what should I do?

My Yorkie, Scooter, is turning his head from side to side, not focusing with his eyes, and his head is constantly moving. He won't walk and is not responding well. He's not crying in pain, but he's not acting right. What could be wrong and what should I do?

My 10+ year old Bichon, Georgie, has a distended abdomen, labored breathing, and has not had bowel movement or urination since morning. He refuses to eat and has a low temperature of 96°F. What could be the cause and what should I do?

My Beagle mix, 8 years old (possibly older), has bilateral kidney stones and a stone in her left ureter causing hydronephrosis. She has had chronic kidney failure and acute on chronic failure. She was very ill with high creatinine and BUN levels, but improved with IV and subcutaneous fluids. She is not healthy enough for surgery, so we are managing her at home with subcutaneous fluids. She has started eating and walking again, but is now showing signs of fatigue. Is there anything I can do diet-wise to dissolve the stones, and how long can I expect her to be stable on this current treatment?

Stewie is on Clindamycin 75mg and prednisone 5 mg. He chews on wood, plastic, sticks, and hooves. He cannot have rawhide due to choking hazards. Could an underlying fracture or infection in his mouth cause 'overnight' gingivitis? After his dental, what can be done to prevent gingivitis in the future?
