Our dog passed away suddenly last week, and we requested a necropsy by the vet office. However, the vet failed to perform the necropsy and sent the body for cremation instead. We stopped the cremation and requested the body be returned for a necropsy, but the vet claims it's too late due to freezing. Can a necropsy still be done at this point, and should we pursue a gross necropsy to identify any visible issues like tumors?

We just adopted a 5-month-old Pomsky named June 3 days ago. She is peeing about every 15 minutes, has diarrhea, and is throwing up. The vomit is liquidy with not much food in it. She has not eaten anything unusual and is not showing signs of anxiety anymore. She is drinking more water than my other dog, a Chihuahua mix, and is not straining to pee. Is this just stress, and what should we do?
