My dog has been vomiting and experiencing diarrhea after a change in diet. He is very sleepy, not drinking much water, and has vomited yellow foamy liquid. His gums are pink and moist, and he seems fine when his belly is pressed. He is not up to date on his vaccines and lives in a remote location. What can I do to help him?

Both of my dogs, Casey and Coco, showed signs of lethargy, vomiting, and unsteadiness after dinner. They were taken to an emergency hospital where they received fluids and improved. However, the initial suspicion of marijuana ingestion was ruled out, and no conclusive diagnosis was made. My yard hasn't been treated with chemicals, and there were no signs of ticks. What could have caused their symptoms?

My dog gets 1/2 tab of Vetmedin in his food. I put a dose in his food and my husband put in another 1/2 tablet not realizing that I had already done that. Is he going to be ok? He is approximately 7 lbs.
