Aaron H. asked
My dog has diabetes. This morning he wouldn't eat anything at all, which is unusual as he usually devours his food. What should I do and can I still give him his Caninsulin?

My 10-year-old cocker spaniel, Bella, has had loose, watery stool and has been eating only rice with bland chicken since last Sunday evening. Her stool has turned orangeish brown, soft, and has a gel-like solution around it. She has stopped drinking water but is lapping up water mixed with her food. Her appetite is fine, but she has been laying around more than usual. What could be causing this and what should I do?

I have a 20-lb, 12-year-old dog named Hopper who is crying and seems to be in pain after falling while trying to jump on the couch. He is walking fine but started crying and being restless after the fall. Hopper takes lasix and 5mg Enacard daily for heart failure and does not act unwell otherwise. I have tramadol but don't know how much to give him. What should I do?

My guests gave my dogs nibbles of chicken thighs that were cooked in coq au vin sauce, but without the sauce. The dogs seem okay now, but I'm worried because the chicken was cooked in wine. Are there any potential issues with this?

My dog, Pugsley, a 4-year-old Chihuahua mix, has been licking his paws excessively for about 6 weeks. I've tried various remedies like wildflower local honey, coconut oil, medicinal dog shampoo, and hydrocortisone, but the behavior continues. The skin on his paws looks red and there are bare spots on his toes. What could be causing this and what can I do to help?

My dog recently had surgery for a disc rupture and now has superficial pain in both legs but responds with the panniculus and wags her tail. She doesn't have control of her bladder yet but shows signs of awareness when about to pee. What are the chances she will walk again and what is the next thing she may regain control over as she heals?
