My greyhound, Bandito, got into a fight with another dog and has a large gash on his side. He's panting and I'm concerned he might be running a fever. I've been patting his tummy with cool water, but I'm not sure if this is necessary. Should I wait until my vet opens at 7:30, or is there anything else I should do in the meantime?

We induced vomiting for our dog using hydrogen peroxide and need guidance on how to manage and monitor him through the night. He seems fine now but has not eaten since lunch. We gave him the hydrogen peroxide about 30 minutes ago.
