My 5-month-old pit bull puppy is throwing up, not drinking, and sleeping more than usual. He has all his shots and is normally very active. What could be the issue and what should I do?

My miniature rat terrier, Domino, who is seven years old and weighs 7 lbs, had turkey breast mixed with her usual dry kibble for dinner and threw up four times. The vomit contained undigested food, and the last one had a tiny bit of liquid and foam. She went for a long walk today and is now sleeping. What could be the cause of her vomiting, and should I be concerned?

We just picked up our 10-week-old puppy and drove 1000 miles home. He is experiencing kennel cough. Our local vet is closed until after New Year's, and we live over 100 miles from a pet hospital. What can we do to help his cough? He's not drinking and eating very little. His energy level is low, and he has a rough cough, sneezing, and gagging, but he doesn't seem to have trouble breathing. He has no other medical problems and is not taking any medications.
