My dog, Maggie, has one eye that is barely open and has a little swollen appearance with white, guey discharge. She lets me clean it and seems to be in discomfort, possibly due to something in her eye. She is a year old, last saw a vet 3 months ago, and is not on any medication. What could be causing this and what can I do to help her?

My dog, Rudy, a 15-20 pound, 11-year-old dog, broke into his dog food bag and ate an unknown amount after already having dinner. He vomited before I got home, and now he's hyperactive with a grumbling stomach and gas. There's also a small pouch by his front right leg that I haven't noticed before. I have a female golden retriever who didn't want to get up this morning and seemed to have pain in her left back leg. She lost appetite unless something tastes really good, didn't drink water, and didn't urinate. She was bred a week ago and didn't eat anything poisonous. What does it sound like?

My 11-year-old Cocker Spaniel, Chanel, has been lethargic, not eating or drinking all day. She has a history of immune-mediated thrombocytopenia, acute gastritis, and pancreatitis. Her stomach is bloated, but she's not crying or whimpering. Should I take her to the emergency vet, considering it's a long drive?
