My dog, Marley, has had diarrhea since last week and was prescribed metronidazole. After starting the antibiotic, she became whiny, restless, and started licking her private areas more frequently. Her tail also appears limp. Is it safe for her to continue the metronidazole, and could she have an infection in her feminine area or is this related to her diarrhea? Additionally, when should the antibiotic start working, and could it cause diarrhea? Should I be concerned about her condition being an emergency, and are there any specific bland dog foods you recommend?

My dog, Athena, a 12-year-old weighing 72 lbs, ate one of my high blood pressure pills (lisinopril hctz 10/12.5) about an hour ago. She did not throw up and ate her breakfast. Is there anything else the vet should know before I connect with them?

My dog, Cooper, has a skin irritation on his scrotum. He's been licking it frequently for the past couple of days and has been hesitant to walk. Any suggestions?

My 22-pound terrier mix dog, Nikki, is experiencing excessive shedding, scratching, licking, and shaking her head. She has been licking occasionally for a month, but there are no known allergies, rashes, or skin-related symptoms. Nikki is 6 years old and has always shed, but not as much as now. She is on Bravecto quarterly, gets all shots on schedule, and has no skin lesions. Her coat isn't as shiny, and she has some white in her black coat due to aging. She has some arthritis and is on Hill's Science weight loss food. What could be causing her discomfort, and what can be done to help her?

My dog ate latex paint. The dog is 30 lbs and ate a small amount of fresh latex paint that was mixed with water and left in a trash can. The dog has not thrown up and is acting normal. Is this a cause for concern, and what should I do?

My 6-month-old mini dachshund, Sunnie, started limping and has become lethargic. She is struggling to move around and has vomited. I have checked her legs and paws, and there doesn't seem to be any pain or injury. She is eating and drinking as normal. What could be causing this, and what should I do?
