My 19-month-old, 43-pound standard poodle named Whiskey has reflux about once a month. Is it okay to give him both Pepcid and a tablet of Pepto Bismol when he has an episode? He doesn't show obvious pain, just discomfort from the reflux feeling, and he hasn't had an episode for a couple of weeks now. Should I get him tested, and if so, what tests should I request?

I have three medications for my English bulldog PorkChop, who has congestive heart failure. The medications are Vetmedin 1.25 mg (2 tablets twice daily), Furosemide 40 mg (1 tablet twice daily), and Enalapril 20 mg (1/2 tablet twice daily). Since it's 2:30 PM, should I give him all three pills once today, and should I give all three pills at the same time or at different times?

My miniature dachshund, Mazy, is eight years old and showing signs of lethargy, pain in the rear end (unsure if it's the back or stomach), and a swollen neck in the chest area. She seems to be in pain when walking, but there's no vomiting or diarrhea. She was better yesterday but now just wants to lay in her bed. What could be causing these symptoms and how can I keep her comfortable until her vet appointment tomorrow?

Hey there, I’m puppy sitting and the two puppies got into my friend's smokes last night at 4pm. Most of them were just scattered and broken, I’m not sure they ate any, but one did throw up last night and both had diarrhea but are up playing and happy this morning. It’s been 13 hours now. Are they in the clear of any poisoning?
