My dog ripped off my chicken's wing, and there are no bird vets around. I have her on penicillin, antibiotic ointment, and have been redressing it daily. I'm concerned that she won't heal with it being an open wound and bone being visible. The bone is not sharp and is flat against the muscle, and she is eating and drinking well.
