I have a 3-month-old female Maltese puppy named Tiki with a cleft lip. She swallowed a large piece of baked chicken jerky treat and has been coughing, gagging, and unable to hold down solid food since. She has been on a liquid diet and seems to be doing better, but I'm concerned about her breathing and overall discomfort.
