My dog saps and growls while trying to muzzle for grooming. I have tried tranquilizing him with diazepam and acepromazine as prescribed by weight, but it has no effect. Is there a short-term injection that can safely put him in a twilight state for grooming?

Hello, I have a 9-year-old Shih Tzu/Maltese who developed skin irritation/rash/bumps on all 4 legs, specifically on the tops of her paws, after a visit to the groomer. She licks and chews constantly. I have tried cortisone spray, which seems to help. Could these be hot spots or razor burn? I want to be assured that it isn't anything more serious. Is there anything else I can do for her?

My Shih Tzu, who is 9 years old, fell on the grass and now can't walk on his back legs. He also hasn't gone to the toilet today. Can I give him Panadol, and is there anything else I should do until I can take him to the vet on Saturday?

My 1-year-old mixed breed dog ate a small bottle of children's aspirins last night. He vomited violently twice and had dry heaves. This morning, he won't get up and walk, cries if moved, and is not drinking or showing much life. He did eat a bacon strip treat but is mostly laying down. What should I do?
