I have 2 dogs, and one has a skin issue that is black and scabby. We took her to the vet a year ago, who diagnosed it as a skin infection and prescribed antibiotics and shampoo, but the condition hasn't improved. She scratches a lot, has gained weight, eats very little, and drinks water but is mostly lethargic and refuses to go out unless necessary. What else can we try to help her?
