My dog, Sydney, a 7 1/2-year-old who weighs about 30 lbs, has an eye infection that started on Saturday with a yellow-green discharge in one eye, which has now spread to the other eye, causing it to be half-closed. She has no major medical issues except for a stretched-out ligament from being hit by a car, and she occasionally takes Deramaxx, Gabapentin, and Trazodone. What can I do to help her until I can get a vet appointment next Thursday?

We're puppy sitting my daughter's dog, Milou, who is a spaniel-poodle cross weighing about 13 pounds. She has been experiencing diarrhea, eating and drinking very little, and vomiting yellow mucus.
