My dog, Twodo, is almost a year old. He is whimpering in discomfort, has thrown up bile four times today, is salivating excessively, and can't get comfortable lying down. He also acted lethargic and stood all evening. He hasn't eaten much since I left for work and hasn't eaten since I've been home. What could be wrong and what should I do?

My 10-month-old dog, Finnly, had pelvic surgery 7 weeks ago and has been doing fine until today when he started vomiting. The vomit was initially liquid and then became foamy. He grabbed a licorice jelly bean but it was retrieved before he could eat it. He has been taking trazodone and acepromazine to keep him calm post-surgery. What could be causing the vomiting and what should I do?
