My dog picked up a piece of gum outside and chewed on it, but I got it out of her mouth before she swallowed any. I don't know if the gum contains xylitol. The dog is about nine pounds and this happened approximately five minutes ago. Her name is Pumpkin and she is about 11 months old. Should I be concerned about any potential harm from the gum?
