My English Springer Spaniel, who will be 13 this April, has been acting abnormally by straying from her usual resting place and drinking excessively, especially at night. She also pants a lot and has not been able to get her usual amount of exercise due to snow. Additionally, she has always had separation anxiety, which involves constant barking when alone. What could be causing her excessive thirst and panting, and what should I do?

My 7-year-old Golden Retriever has developed dermatitis on his neck and behind his ears. The affected areas are scaly like dandruff, and if removed, create red, bloody spots.
