My dog has an irritation around his eyes, with hair loss, pimples, and scabbing. The vet initially diagnosed it as allergies and prescribed medication, which improved the condition but it returned and worsened after the meds finished. The dog also had irritation on his mouth and an ear infection, both of which resolved with treatment. What could be causing the persistent eye irritation, and what steps can I take to treat it?
