I clean my 8 lb. PomChi's eyes 2-3 times/week with Eye Pads mostly to avoid staining. Last week, I noticed a stye on the top lid of his left eye. I've been applying Erythromycin 2X/day for about a week, but the stye is red and seems to have 'come to a head'. Should I be alarmed?

Our dog (35 lbs. beagle) just ate a pack of Orbit SweetMint gum containing xylitol. We calculated that our dog ate around 30 mg/kg of xylitol. Should we take our dog to the vet or should we be okay?
