My Yorkie has pancreatitis and has been coughing for 4 days. My vet says her lungs are cloudy and she has an enlarged heart, but is not worried about the heart. She is on antibiotics. When she moves around, she starts coughing and does not want to be held. What should I do?

My Great Pyrenees puppy (10 months old) has occasional front shoulder issues. He's limping and holding it up. I've had it x-rayed and there doesn't seem to be any bone issue. Is there an over-the-counter pain killer you can suggest? Or, should I give him a glucosamine type joint medication?
