A mouse got into my bedroom and appeared to be pulling out hair from my dog's tail. My dog's rabies tag has a date of 2020. Do I need to get an immediate rabies shot or exam for my dog, who is an 11-pound Maltipoo? The dog seems fine, with no visible bites or blood, and is not in apparent pain.

My 90 lbs yellow lab swallowed 10-12 glass shards, most under 1 cm. The vet recommended surgery to remove them from the stomach due to the risk of perforation. Is the intestinal lining thick enough to withstand cuts from small glass shards, or could a few cause infection? Should we have opted for bulk feeding instead of surgery?
