My mom won't take the dog, Roxy, who is about 7 years old, in for treatment. Roxy has had an ear infection for over 3 years and now her ear smells really bad. The dog yelps when barely touched. What can be done to help Roxy, and are there any financial assistance options available?

My 61 lb mixed breed dog, Bryson, who is approximately 11 years old, tripped and started limping on his right rear leg about 15 minutes ago. He didn't yelp or cry out in pain, and there is no swelling or heat. He has not seen a vet recently and is not on any medications. What should I do for him?
