My poodle/chihuahua mix had his teeth cleaned and extractions last Friday. He was sent home with gabapentin and antibiotics for 10 days along with soft food. Today, he yiped in pain before being touched and has been yiping all evening. His back is hunched, his stomach is tight, and he is shaking on and off. We don’t know if he is constipated or something worse. What could be causing his pain and what should we do?

I have two 7lb dachshunds, both almost 4 years old. One of them got into an adult diaper, which was mostly ripped open, and might have ingested some of the gel. It has been about 4 hours since this happened, and neither dog has vomited. They both seem fine but are not interested in drinking water, though they are excited for treats. How do I know if this is an emergency, and what should I look for?
