My puppy, a German Shepherd mix named Luke, started vomiting and I found a piece of glass in it. There is no blood, but he has vomited 6 times. He is active, happy, and his poop is normal. We know the glass came from a broken candle we cleaned up, and he might have ingested it. He stopped vomiting at the vet yesterday and has not vomited since. He is drinking water and eating. What should we do to ensure he didn't have any glass in his system?

My 15-year-old Shih Tzu, George, has been diagnosed with bronchitis and is coughing. He was given antibiotics and prednisone by the vet on June 2, and was seen again on June 19. However, the vet is fully booked until July 15, and I want to know if he can have some kind of cough medication to relieve his coughing. George also has a heart murmur, has had three surgeries for bladder stones, and has adenocarcinoma of the anal gland since July 2020.
