I have a 75lb rescue dog named Rockne, approximately 7 or 8 years old, who had his first heartworm shot today and is crying and in a lot of pain. He is on prednisone and has been coughing for the past month and a half. Is there anything over the counter I can give him to alleviate his pain, or should I wait until my vet is available on Monday?

I have a Cocker Spaniel named Nitro who is 2 years old. He has crusty or dry skin on the edges of his ears. I thought it might be due to fleas, but he has been treated and his hair has been cut, yet the issue persists. Nitro is not bleeding, and the condition doesn't seem to bother him unless I try to remove the crust. He is healthy, up-to-date on vaccinations, and mostly stays indoors.

My rescue dog killed a raccoon and has since been lethargic, refusing food and water, and having great trouble standing due to stiff legs. The vet has done blood tests and x-rays but found nothing. What could be causing this and what further steps should be taken?

My friend's English Cream Retriever, Bo, started having diarrhea and vomiting last night. He is two years old and did not eat dinner. I gave him his regular dry food and boiled chicken, which the owner said was okay. What could be causing this issue and what should I do?

My dog, Rusty, has a scratched eye that seems to be getting worse despite cleaning and using ophthalmic ointment. I gave him Benadryl for allergies, but it's only affecting one eye. What should I do next?
