My Yorkipoo ate rat poison. She has not vomited, but I saw her take a couple of bites before I realized what she was eating. She is generally a healthy dog and weighs about 9 lbs. What should I do?

Rosie, an 8-month-old Golden Retriever lab mix, has had an upset stomach with occasional diarrhea and vomiting, including bile, after receiving an accidental double dose of Pepto Bismol. She ate some grass at a park, which usually causes looser stools. She has no fever, is not convulsing, and is currently resting. What could be causing her symptoms and what steps should be taken to help her recover?

Hi, my pregnant dog has had wet stool at least 3 times today. It's midnight, so I gave her metronidazole for the night before going to the nearest vet in the morning. However, I just found out it's not safe for pregnant dogs. Will it deeply affect my dog's unborn litters even though I only gave 1 shot? She weighs at least 9-10kg and I gave her a dose of 3mL of metronidazole with a concentration of 125mg/5mL. Is that okay? Also, is it okay to mix her water with Dextrose Powder?

My barrel horse, Scooby Voo (age 21), has low energy, puffy eyes, and prominent veins after returning from a trip. He is on lasix and has a normal appetite but refused a treat. He was out in a recently mowed pasture with possible exposure to milkweed. What could be causing these symptoms and what should I do?

My 11-pound dog, Gracie, has had diarrhea for 4 days. She has been on a prescription diet and has eaten Rachel Ray's food and French fries. She hides when she poops and there is a little blood or mucus in her stool. What should I do?
