Our 15-month-old Westie, Simon, has been laying around with rapid breathing, more pronounced in his belly, for the last hour. He seems at ease but this is unusual for him. He chewed through a plastic lid earlier and we were painting with an airless sprayer, though he was kept on a different level of the house. What could be causing this rapid breathing?

My 17-week-old American Pitbull Terrier, Bellatrix, was treated for a UTI with antibiotics, but she's not back to her usual self today. She's been clingy, sleepy, and her urine has blood and mucus in it. She also seems to have an unusual smell in her urine at times and is more tired than usual. What should I do?

My 9-year-old dog, Prince, ate chicken and dumplings and is now acting differently—he has diarrhea, doesn't want to move unless I'm with him, and is limping on his previously fractured back leg. He also seems to be shaking and having seizures. Can he have gotten a toxin from the food, and can I give him something to help him get the toxin out?

My 1-year-old Bichon Frise, Francesco, has been drooling, lethargic, and not himself for 4 days. He had a history of vomiting bile once a week from 3 months to 12 months, which was suspected to be gastritis but later treated with omez, which stopped the vomiting but started hypersalivation. He has had a scan, X-ray, blood tests, and abdominal ultrasound, all showing no significant issues. What could be causing his current symptoms, and what further tests should be considered?
