Our 18-year-old dog is bleeding from her mouth and has a sick smell. We do not want to take her to the vet to be put down and have her last day be scary, so we are trying to wait and see if she will go peacefully. I just don't want her to suffer. She still eats and goes to the bathroom. Last time she had her senior check-up, her liver enzymes were high, and the vet said she could start treatment but didn't think it was going to be helpful. What should we do?
