We have a 6-year-old male German Shepherd Dog (GSD) experiencing weakness in all legs, especially on hard surfaces and stairs. He can still walk and run, but slips on hard surfaces and has difficulty going up stairs, but not coming down. This issue was also present last summer but resolved. What could be causing this and what should we do?

My 14-year-old dog, a 95-pound Great Pyrenees Lab mix named Bear, has slightly unstable back legs and struggles to run and get up sometimes. He was hit by a car 8 years ago and had broken legs, but he healed fine. What can I do to help him?
