Our 6-year-old German Shepherd licked antifreeze from a pan 5 days ago, and two days ago he seemed drunk but is now fine, eating, drinking, and urinating normally. We are worried about potential kidney damage. What should we do?

My Labrador, Lucky, who is 65 pounds, was accidentally given 75mg of Effexor instead of 300 mg of Gabapentin. He was given the Effexor at 11:30 pm and is also on 75 mg of Rimadyl, which he took last night at 7:00 pm. He seems to be wide awake and is panting on and off, but otherwise seems OK. What should I do?

My dog was limping and may have hurt her foot. I need to give her an over-the-counter anti-inflammatory/pain killer, but I forget if it was Tylenol, Advil, or aspirin, and the dosage per weight. My dog weighs about 45 pounds. Can you please provide the relevant information again?

My dog, Luna, a 3-year-old weighing 16 lbs, swallowed an industrial staple about 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch an hour ago. What should I do to ensure she passes it safely and what signs should I watch for?

Why are veterinarians required by their state's Veterinary Medical Board to keep the medical records of deceased patients? What use would the records have at that point? Also, are the visual images of X-rays, MRI, Ultrasound, PET, CT-Scan, etc., part of the patient's record? What about the results of blood tests or other diagnostic tests? If so, can the client get a copy of all of these as well as the written notes from the veterinarians?
