Our 8-month-old male German Shorthaired Pointer, Waco, has been experiencing symptoms that may indicate a urinary tract infection for about a week. His urine is dark yellow, has an odor, and he is urinating more frequently, even in his kennel. He was previously potty trained but is now going all the time. My 14-year-old Yorkie, Daisy, has had rusty-colored gelatinous stool and some vomiting for over 24 hours. She has been eating white rice and drinking water, but should I be concerned? She weighs 6.5 lbs, takes enalapril 2.5mg twice a day for blood pressure, and her energy level is normal.
