Our vet adjusted his insulin dosage three weeks ago, and he seemed to be doing well, but recently he has been fighting his insulin shots, not eating, panting a lot, and throwing up yellow bile. Does this sound like an insulin crash, and what should we do for him?

Our 11-year-old Australian heeler mix, Zelda, died a month ago from Hemangiosarcoma. We found out about the tumors on her spleen and liver only when one burst. We are grieving and feeling guilty about not catching it earlier. We noticed a change in her behavior and an enlarged belly on one side, but the vet didn't seem concerned. Could these symptoms have been related to the tumors, and if we had caught it earlier, could we have made a difference?
