Our golden doodle, Estrella, has lost most of the hair on her tail. The tail has splotchy gray marks, and she doesn't like it touched but isn't in pain. She is a little over 2 years old and is slender, fast on her feet, and affectionate. What could be causing this hair loss, and is there anything we can do about it?
