Our vet's office has been closed due to weather since Saturday. My 13-year-old lab, Akoni, who has cancer and severe arthritis, needs his medication (alprazolam) that is due tomorrow. He takes it twice a day. How can we get the medication without a script or call-in to the pharmacy?

I give Bravecto to my retrievers every three months for ticks, fleas, and parasites. My trainer suggested adding Simparica for the Lonestar tick, which Bravecto doesn't cover. Now, the trainer thinks I only need to use Simparica. Will Simparica provide enough protection against fleas, ticks, and parasites on its own, or do I still need both Bravecto and Simparica?
