Rocky, a 10-year-old, 64.5 lb boxer, has been experiencing a progressively worsening cough since receiving his immunization on 6/4/2019. The cough initially started as an attention-seeking behavior but later developed into a honking cough similar to kennel cough. Despite a wellness exam and vaccinations, the cough has worsened and is now accompanied by lethargy. What could be causing Rocky's cough, and what steps should be taken to address it?

My 12-year-old Min Pin, Boo, has been experiencing diarrhea, tremors, and a slight fever. He was prescribed metronidazole and has been on a diet of cottage cheese, rice, and canned chicken. He recently vomited after eating, and I'm concerned about his recovery and when to reintroduce his regular dog food. What should I do?

My 11-year-old Shih Tzu, Precious, has a bulging right eye that has been worsening for about 2 weeks. I don't have the money to take her to the vet until Friday. Is there anything I can do to help her until then, as her eye looks terrible and must be uncomfortable? Additionally, Precious has a growing lump on her head, another soft lump, and has started having what appear to be seizures, where she throws her head back and bends backward, letting out a scream.

I have a foster puppy with kennel cough and two other dogs that are fully vaccinated. I am keeping the puppy isolated in my office but want to know if it's safe to hold her in the living room without risking infection to my other dogs. I am cleaning the house and washing my hands/changing clothes before interacting with my other dogs. Is this enough precaution, or do I need to take additional steps?

My 3-week-old Bullmastiff X Staffy puppy, named Peanut, has hyperglycemia. She is very shaky, has had little fits, and is weak and uncoordinated. I gave her honey, solid foods, and puppy milk, which made her more alert but she remains weak. What should I do?

Our dog, a cockapoo named Rosie, appears to have gastritis and is very lethargic, reluctant to drink and eat. She has been prescribed antacids, probiotics, and antibiotics since Tuesday, but progress is slow. She had four small pinprick size fresh blood episodes last night. She goes to her food and water bowl but turns away. We are currently feeding and hydrating her with a syringe. She has never been like this before, and it is also exceptionally hot. The antibiotics are on day three. She may have ingested sand or seawater at the beach on Monday. All vaccinations, wormer, and spot-on treatments are up to date, and there is no abdominal discomfort.
