We adopted a 5-month-old female lab/shepherd mix yesterday. She has worms, soft stool but not diarrhea, and has been panting non-stop for about 4 hours after a short walk. She is drinking a lot, has rapid breathing, is playful, and ate well. Her gums are pink but sticky. Is she in danger, and what could be causing her panting?
