We have a 4.5-year-old black lab mix female dog who initially limped after tripping on stairs in mid-December. The limp persisted but improved with a dog sitter's care. However, it worsened again recently, leading to a visit to a Russian-speaking vet in Astana, Kazakhstan, who diagnosed arthritis/joint pain and prescribed Rimadyl. The limp has since become more pronounced, with the dog not putting any pressure on the affected leg. We suspect a re-injury and are considering further diagnostic tests like an ultrasound or MRI. What should we do next, and is surgery the only option?

Can laser surgery help with tracheal collapse in my 13-year-old pug, Spirit, who is on medications for an enlarged heart and experiences coughing off and on all day and night? She has a good appetite but has difficulty in cold, dry weather, and we are using a humidifier at home.

My 13-year-old beagle mix, Har, has had three episodes of vestibular disease, with the second and third occurring within the last three weeks. She was diagnosed with Afib six months ago and has tumors on her mammary glands that haven't been aspirated due to her Afib. Could these episodes be related to a brain tumor, and what are the symptoms of a stroke versus a vestibular episode?

I have a 17-year-old husky with oral cancer. He is still eating and going outside but has difficulty getting up. I want to keep him comfortable day by day. I ran out of Tramadol and amoxicillin. Can I give him acetaminophen with codeine or hydrocodone with acetaminophen for just the next few days?

My 2-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier mix has been experiencing diarrhea for two days, possibly due to feeding her precooked brisket. She also has foul gas and has been defecating in the house. I've been feeding her a bland diet of pumpkin, brown rice, and low-sodium chicken broth, and have given her Pepto Bismol tablets. What else can I do to help her recover?

My dog, CiCi, has been diagnosed with colitis. She was on Fromm adult dog food and has been given baked chicken with white rice to stop the diarrhea. We recently tried Purina One Sensitive Systems, but the diarrhea returned. What food can I use that won't cause diarrhea, and what else can I do to help her?
