We have taken our dog to the vet twice due to lethargy, whining, loss of appetite, and lack of thirst. She has been taking prescribed medications (Tramadol, methocarbamol, and carprofen) for several days with no results. We initially thought she was injured after being rolled by a larger dog, but lab work showed no signs of infection, and her temperature is 100.5°F. We found a dark-colored tick on her earlier in the week, and she has ataxia. What additional tests or considerations should we discuss with our vet?
