My 2-year-old neutered male Samoyed has new onset pain in the area of his rear abdomen/penis. He exhibits signs of pain such as growling, yelping, sudden circling, frequent panting, and licking the area. He seems to be in constant pain, especially when moving, and his behavior has changed. He is eating, drinking, peeing, and pooping normally, but his paws and gums feel warmer than usual. What could be causing his pain, and what further steps should I take?

My 16-year-old, 55 lb (25 kg) Shepherd/Husky mix with controlled chronic pancreatitis has a large laceration in his upper armpit area.
