When I apply Simple Guard3, my Cocker Spaniel, Buddy, goes nuts for a couple of hours, trying to 'get it off his back' by rubbing on furniture and rugs. Is it burning him, and what other flea/tick prevention options are there for him since he won't take oral applications?

My 13-year-old Yorkie suffers from colitis. She has had antibiotics and her stool sample showed nothing. The vet recommended Royal Canine Sensitivity, but she refuses to eat it and will go without food rather than eat it. I've tried fish and rice, and chicken and rice, but she still has episodes of very loose stool. What food can I give her?
