While grooming a client's dog, I noticed his eye membrane appears to be ruptured, and there is a jelly-like substance present. The dog was in this condition before I started bathing him. What could this be, and what should the owner do?

I have a 4-month-old Mastiff named Marley who was recently spayed and has developed a cough that sounds like hacking. She had her Bordetella vaccine, but I'm concerned it might be irritation from the anesthesia or something else. Do you have any home remedies or suggestions to help her?

My 12-year-old Yorkie named Elliot ate a piece of taxidermy, specifically a mounted rabbit's head, within the last three hours. She has already vomited a portion of it, but some parts like an ear, plastic ear fillers, and scalp are still missing. What should I do?

My 16-year-old Australian Shepherd, Lil Bit, is experiencing dry heaves and coughing but nothing comes up. She was given leftover rice about 12 hours ago. She doesn't seem to be in pain when I pet her or rub her stomach. Could this be related to heartworm, as she is behind on her heartworm preventative?

I have a 9-year-old diabetic Schnoodle who has been on Vetsulin. He recently had a UTI treated with Tribrissen, received a steroid shot for itching, and took Comfortis and Interceptor. After these treatments, he became lethargic, refused regular food, felt hot, and had a slightly elevated temperature. A blood panel showed issues with pH levels, thyroid, and liver. He is now on Denamarin, Amoxicillin, Tribrissen, DL Meth, thyroid medication, and Engard for his heart. Despite these treatments, he seems worse. I am concerned about the medications and their impact on his diabetes. What should I do?

My dog got into a plastic bag with treats last night and ate some of the bags along with the treats. There were several bags - a training treat sack, ziploc bags with dog biscuits, bully sticks, and chicken feet, all inside a plastic grocery bag. All the treats are gone, and all the bags are torn up into small pieces. I'm not sure how much plastic he ate, but he is not showing any symptoms other than shame. He weighs about 28-30 lbs. (Shiba Inu). Should I take him to an emergency vet?
