I am a 50-year-old female with a hemoglobin of 15.6 and a hematocrit of 46.6. I experience random periods of muscle weakness, extreme fatigue, memory/concentration issues, and have developed multiple food sensitivities, including gluten intolerance. I also have a positive ANA, high cholesterol, normal glucose, and a small cyst in the center of my brain. What could be causing these symptoms and what further tests or steps should I take?

I had terrible heartburn for the past two days and tried using Tummy Zen! Roland’s and caraway seeds, which seemed to help but resulted in red and hot cheeks. I usually take Nexium but ran out two days ago. I also had a cortisone shot in my left shoulder two days ago and get monthly Marcaine shots in my hip. Why did this happen, and what should I do about my heartburn and facial redness?

I was diagnosed with constipation and took a laxative, but now I'm experiencing nausea, vomiting black stuff, extreme fatigue, loss of appetite, and lack of energy. I have a thyroid problem. Could this be a small bowel obstruction?

Why is my leg bruising down the leg from a little above the knee, now on the back of the calf? I am a 67-year-old female with diabetes and a history of hip replacement. I am on aspirin and blood pressure medications. There is a slight ache and possible swelling below the knee on the right side, and stiffness behind the knee. What could be causing this bruising and what should I do?
