Why is my leg bruising down the leg from a little above the knee, now on the back of the calf? I am a 67-year-old female with diabetes and a history of hip replacement. I am on aspirin and blood pressure medications. There is a slight ache and possible swelling below the knee on the right side, and stiffness behind the knee. What could be causing this bruising and what should I do?

I accidentally took 40mg of dextromethorphan instead of 20mg and was wondering what side effects that might have. My blood pressure rose to 170/110, but I've since taken Felodipine ER 2.5mg and am monitoring it. I also took Robitussin DM at a capful instead of Hal, mistaking the bottle for the CF version. I am out of Valium but have a prescription for Ativan that I never took. Can I switch to Ativan without experiencing withdrawal symptoms, and how should I adjust the dosage? I also take Lisinopril HCTZ 20/12.5 and Atenolol 75 mg per day. Will this be an issue?
