I have been on hormonal contraceptives for 1.5 years, switching from Estrostep to Yaz, and have gained over 10 pounds. My doctor recently prescribed NuvaRing. Will NuvaRing cause weight gain, and is there a better option such as Ortho Tri-Cyclen-Lo or an over-the-counter contraceptive device?

I have a history of anxiety and depression and lately it has been really bad where I can't go a day without an attack. I need to see a doctor but my new insurance doesn't go into effect until January and all the other free/walk-in clinics are booked until January as well. I am already in the habit of cutting myself and the thoughts are getting worse. Is there anywhere I can go or someone I can talk to so I can get help now and possibly get a medical leave from work until I can see my doctor and hopefully switch my medication and see a therapist?

I haven't started my period yet and it is day 30. I have been under a lot of stress and have recently become sexually active. Could my delay in starting be from the stress, and when should I start to worry or consider a pregnancy test?
