I started taking Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5mg on October 2nd, and my blood pressure numbers have been fine, but they are currently spiking. Will taking another dose at the 12-hour mark help? If it keeps rising, at what point should I consider going to the ER? Also, is it normal for blood pressure to be normal and then spike so high as opposed to just being consistently high?

This morning I woke up feeling tired around 6:30 am. By 8:30 am, I started having pressure-like pain in my chest and shoulders, nausea, shortness of breath, and cold sweats which lasted about 30 minutes. I then felt better but the symptoms increased in strength. I fell asleep for an hour and a half and feel fine now. Not sure what I should do next. My husband is away on a work trip till Friday.

My friend has severe neck pain when she moves her head upwards toward the ceiling and a slight trembling in her right hand. She has had these symptoms for 2 days, with less severity yesterday. There is no visible swelling, her temperature and pulse are normal, and she has not experienced any recent trauma or injuries. What could be causing these symptoms and what can be done to alleviate them?
