I found out my girlfriend was pregnant about 6-7 weeks ago and we decided to have an abortion. She went to Planned Parenthood for the procedure, but two weeks later, she was told she was still pregnant. She doesn't want to go back to the same clinic and other doctors recommended a hospital surgery costing $5,000 or she will have the baby. Can we sue the doctor for the failed abortion, and is it possible to still be pregnant after a surgical abortion at 5-6 weeks? Also, is complete anesthesia necessary for the recommended hospital procedure?

My mother is a three-time survivor of colon cancer, and recent tests show she is clear of cancer. However, she recently woke up with swollen neck glands, a swollen face, and swollen under-eye area. Her doctor's blood tests revealed no abnormalities, and she has no fever, pain, or tenderness. What else could we look at?

I was diagnosed with ADD as a child 12 years ago by the school psychologist and it's affecting me now. I'm going to the doctor tomorrow to discuss medication. Will I have to go through more testing, or can the doctor start me on medication based on my past diagnosis?

I have been experiencing unusual stomach sensations intermittently for 3 weeks, mostly in the afternoon or evening, along with recent breast soreness and weepiness. My period was 4 days late and lighter than usual, but I still had bad cramps. I've taken 4 pregnancy tests over the course of the month, all of which were negative. Should I consider these as PMS symptoms, or could there be another cause?

My daughter found household cleaning wipes behind the toilet and used them as toilet wipes. She is just under three years old. I noticed a rash down there the next day. She was already almost asleep, so I put hydrocortisone on it and put her to bed. I am worried if she will be okay, if I need to take her to the ER, when to know if it has gotten more serious, if there is an over-the-counter treatment, and what symptoms of shock to look for in a 3-year-old.
