I had a hysterectomy with A & P repair on August 13th. My gynecologist has prescribed Keflex and Urecholine. I can only urinate with the aid of a catheter. I had the catheter in for 2 weeks, tried to train my bladder by clamping the catheter, but still can't pee. Removed the catheter at the 2-week mark, and still can't pee. Now I'm cathing as needed (about 3 to 4 times a day). My doctor says it will take some time, but I wanted a second opinion. Any suggestions?

Is it possible to get herpes from someone who has an outbreak once or twice a year and they've made sure there is no sign of one coming soon?

I am 38 years old with a history of cysts on my ovaries. I experience varying degrees of pain each month, and recently had severe pain on my right side that prevented me from walking upright and urinating. The gynecologist diagnosed it as a ruptured cyst. Since then, I have had persistent burning in the area of my right ovary, with varying degrees of pain. Could I be at risk for ovarian cancer, and could my polycystic ovaries be contributing to my increased depression?

Should I be concerned if I have not ovulated on day 29 of Clomid? This is my first month... and I took a progesterone test and it showed that I have not ovulated so far?

I have slight dextrocoliosis with its apex at L2-L3, and there is straightening of the spine suggesting spasm. I cannot walk without a cane, and the pain goes down my right leg. I do not know what caused the pain, and I sleep on a waterbed. I want to know what I need to do to get relief from the pain, which is destroying my life. I take Percocet and a muscle relaxer. What other options are there without surgery?

I had a TAH hysterectomy in August 2006 and have been treated for yeast infections multiple times since then. I am now interested in having sexual intercourse but am concerned about recurring infections. Should I speak to my gynecologist about BV vaginal infection, and is there any medication that could help?
