I had my tonsils removed 10 years ago due to a blood clot on one of them. Recently, I've been sick with allergies/sinus infection and felt something in the back of my throat similar to the blood clot sensation. There is a red, pea-sized ball where my tonsil used to be. Could this be due to excessive coughing, and should I be concerned about it being another blood clot?

My lower lip started twitching 2 days ago. I'm 37 weeks pregnant. Is this a normal thing, and will it go away on its own?

I have a hard lump at the base of my sternum that feels like part of the bone and is as wide as the bone. I noticed it about 4 years ago when I lost weight. It is very hard and doesn't cause pain, isn't growing, and doesn't move. I haven't had it checked by a doctor. What could it be?

I am a 45-year-old healthy male who has had the flu for a week. Initial symptoms included headache, muscle ache, and fever, which were controlled with Panadol. After 3-4 days, I developed a persistent, hacking, dry cough that occurs 2-3 times a minute and seems to be worsening. I cough up light green mucus with a couple of specks of blood. My GP prescribed Kalixocin, which I've been taking for 2 days. I am experiencing shortness of breath, especially when climbing stairs, and have a muscular pain at the top of my left rib cage in my back. I am considering going to a public hospital for a more thorough check-up. What do you suggest?
