My husband had a hemmroid that popped after he sneezed, causing him to nearly pass out. The blood was thick and dark, but it's not continually bleeding and he feels better. How can he keep it clean, and can he take a warm bath? Should he see a doctor immediately, or can we wait a day or two to see how it heals?

I had a pyeloplasty on my left kidney about 2 years ago. I have been experiencing severe pain on that side every other month, which leads me to the emergency room. The doctors I have seen attribute the pain to kidney infections, but I never had this issue before the surgery. Could they be missing something?
