My last period was on January 26, 2006, and I started bleeding yesterday. Is this my period, or what's going on? Why did my period come after 4 1/2 months?

Immediately after leaving the gym, I noticed itching and small red welts on my wrists, forearms, and neck. I took an over-the-counter allergy pill, but now the rash has spread all over my body, except my face, and it is unbearably itchy, especially on my palms and forearms. I am a 31-year-old female with no health problems and haven't introduced anything new to my diet. Hydrocortisone cream is not helping. Could this be caused by a release of toxins during my cardio workout?
